Unit ideas? Well atm i had none,but i will post a brick of text for it,kinda.
So,for starters,some new structures (i think) :-
a)Shield dome tower - project a normal shield that consume power to function. Consume more power when it is hit and the shield itself will break if its shield value is zero(as if the shield dome tower projects numerous shield segments that can be blown off independently by concentrating fire to it). Blown off shield segment will take a while to re-appear and shield segment that taken heavy hits will need a considerable amount of time and power to regenerate to full health. If all shield segments are blown off,the shield dome tower will explode. When the shield segment blows,anything near it will receive some damage. Putting shield dome towers in close proximity will give them some additional shielding bonus. Player can only upgrade them in one way,either larger coverage area or stronger shield. By upgrading in the stronger shield direction,a special upgrade is available which is [Multi-Pass Shield] which in effect is a shield generated in layers,which are tougher than the standard upgraded stronger shield. All of the unit function consume power and by upgrading it,it will consume more power when active. When not needed,the shield can be turned off manually.The shield is turned on by default. Player can also opt to specialize the shield either to resist more FTA-based weapons or Goblex beam weapons. By default,the shield resist all weapon equally except superweapons. More advanced idea is when the shield dome tower reached a specific upgrade level,player can select which shield segment to concentrate more shield power, i.e redistributing the shield power in a particular direction while leaving the other shield segments weaker. The shield dome tower is not immune to EMP effects however,it still passes the shield protection and affects the unit directly.
b) A shield recharge structure that can recharge nearby allied units shield
c) A targeting relay that increases the accuracy of allied weapons and increasing detection capabilities.
d) EMP silo that launches an EMP missile which can knock enemy radars off,causing them to lose ability to track you for a set period of time.
e) A radar jammer tower to prevent enemy from detecting you in a fixed coverage covered by it in the map. Can be upgraded and countered by using better radar detection and targeting capabilities. The jammer also prevent the enemy from automatically locks on you and your allies. Player can only upgrade the radar jammer one way,such as better jamming power or larger coverage area. If two jammer tower existed side by side,only the one with highest upgrade level works. For same upgrade level jammers,the one with upgraded jamming power will work while the other won't. EMP attacks highly affects the radar jammer towers,as if one happen to detonate in proximity,the radar jammer tower will either blowout or damaged.
